NiRNOY a specialized home of counseling, training and research is aimed at promoting the concept and use of counseling and relevant services in the country invites applications for the following openings:

1. Volunteer – Research & Documentation - 5 positions
2. Volunteer – Training & Facilitation - 5 positions
3. Intern – Admin & Management - 1 position
4. Intern – Technical (Social Media, Content & Data Management) - 1 position

Qualifications:

Age 18 years and above (for all positions)
Minimum HSC or equivalent (for volunteer position), Graduation in social science preferably Psychology (any field), social welfare, anthropology, philosophy & statistics
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in research methodology, field investigation, data inputting and statistical analysis (for volunteer – research)
Demonstrated skill in Bangla and English typing (for volunteer-documentation – a must, other positions desirable)
Willing to work evenings and weekends (Saturdays and occasional Fridays)
Willing to travel any part of Dhaka and outside (occasional) Dhaka
Skills in translation from English to Bangla and Bangla to English (highly desirable)
Ability to work in team environment and independently with minimum supervision
Willingness to lifetime learning and work under stress

Descriptions:

Initial placement/contract for twelve (12) weeks (15 hour/wk X 4 days/wk)
Upon selection necessary training & orientation will be provided
Upon successful completion of placement/volunteer assignment within the stipulated period, reference certificate of experience will be awarded
Upon successful completion of placement/volunteer assignment within the stipulated period, regular work/assignment opportunities will be offered to deserving candidate(s) given availability
All volunteers/interns who successfully complete assignment within the stipulated period will automatically be enlisted in NIRNOY resource pool to provide training and/or carry out research or other assignment as deemed suitable with due remuneration
